Years ago, as a young Kansas lawyer, I started a law practice with clients in Business and Family Law. It was satisfying but something happened that dedicated me to Adoption Law and all related matters. A close family member came to me and asked for quiet council on what to do about her soon to be born twins. She knew that she could not assure them of the bright future that they deserved. It was my first adoption procedure and far more fulfilling than any action, divorce or contract I had worked on. Since then I have successfully brought together hundreds of happy families and those grown boys are out of college.

Partnering with The Adoption Centre of Kansas, Inc., (ACK) a full service child placement agency, has been an exciting addition to my legal work. This group of caring professionals is dedicated to the well being of children. They offer a healthy, loving alternative for unplanned pregnancies. ACK encourages self-improvement and does emotional counseling, community assistance referrals and gives needed help to birth mothers. They help find loving families for all infants and children.
